I'm Daan Dohmen. I've worked as an entrepreneur all my life, and later also as a professor of digital transformation. I founded the care innovation companies FocusCura and Luscii. I sold them in 2020 and 2024, and their technology is now used worldwide. Wonderful work, but also a busy life.
What I always looked for was a place where I could do nothing for a while. Close to the city, with space, comfort and greenery around me. A place to enjoy with my wife, to run, cycle, or simply be. With the quality you would expect from a good hotel, but all to yourself and without the fuss.
I saw such an inspiring place nowhere. Until my good friend and business partner Thomas pointed me to a row of derelict holiday homes right behind his house. He gave me the idea, and now helps to keep everything on track. Together with a few craftspeople we made little nature. of it. The place that didn't yet exist, and that I would have loved so much myself.
